Life Rich Real Estate Inc. – we had our second successful buyers workshop last evening and received some good feedback.
We will be scheduling additional workshops once vacation season is over. Of course we are here for clients all the time and would be happy to help you understand our lifestyle profiling and how to apply what you learn to buying your piece of paradise; whether it is beach, jungle, rainforest, mountain, sun or snow.
We can show the questions to ask and how to do your research and identify whether a place is right for you BEFORE you leave home – think of the money you can save not having to visit places that will not make you happy!
For the Fall we have a couple of larger events that we are considering and would be interested in your feedback or suggestions.
- We are contemplating having a full day dedicated to buying International real estate – featuring developers, lawyers, financial planners, mortgage agents and other related professionals
- Discovery tour/Golf tournament to Mexico – If you don’t play golf don’t worry – the fabulous location we are planning to visit will have more than enough activities to keep non-golfers busy! We thought it would be great to have some fun while we hear about the benefits of buying/living in Mexico.
- Discovery tour to several of the other developers/destinations in our property portfolio.
- If ever the timing of one of our events doesn’t fit with your schedule please let us know and we can arrange something with the developer that will.
Let us know your thoughts! We’re here to help don’t hesitate to contact us!

There is no question that there are plenty of opportunities to invest in the fabulous country of Panama! Some of these include:
- Pensionada Program
- Property Tax incentives
- Climate
- Healthcare
- No Hurricanes,
- Location for just about everyone – beach, city, mountains, rainforest
When buying Real Estate in Panama, just the as when buying real estate locally, it is important to make sure you deal with a Realtor who is LICENSED, professional, knowledgeable, reputable and reliable. They should also be driving you around to look at property in a reliable, INSURED, vehicle.
There are residency rules and a licensing program for Realtors in Panama. The Realtor you use (as a minimum!) should be licensed and registered with the government.
At the moment there is no MLS system in Panama and so the Realtor you use should have access to information on a wide range of properties, both new & resale, information on upcoming investment opportunities, know about property management options and have access to the other professionals (e.g. lawyers, financial) that you will need to use to close your sale.
I have a number of Professional Realtors that I work with and feel confident that my clients are in good hands when they go to Panama.
My Panamanian colleagues and I provide clients with all kinds of useful information on properties, financing options, visa options & requirements, etc.
If you are thinking of buying real estate in Panama or in other International destinations please contact me I can help!
Please check out my website www.suecolemanrealtor.com for information on what you need to consider when buying International real estate.

Full day at the discovery weekend here in Puerto Vallarta – weather is fabulous, warm but with a breeze to keep it comportable.
The morning was spent discussing the 4 major developments – all underway which is somewhat reassuring as last time I was here on a Discovery Weekend we were dealing strictly with artist renderings. Completion dates for these developments vary from December 2009 through 2011.
After lunch we spent the first part of the afternoon visiting the development sites & seeing how far along in the construction they were. It gave us a feel for the size of the developments, positioning of buildings & were able to visit a couple of model suites to see the layouts & high-end finishings.
The later part of the afternoon we were treated to a cruise of the Banderas Bay on a Catamaran – complimentary beverages, food & of course dancing with the young and energetic crew.
We returned to the hotel with a little bit of time to freshen up before heading to the beach for another delicious dinner & watching a magnificent sunset.
For more information on how you can experience one of these Discovery Weekends in Mexico please contact me sue@suecolemanrealtor.com for dates & registration! It really is a fabulous way to come and explore some very exciting developments that will be appearing on my website in the next little while. Don’t hesitate to contact me in the meantime!

Don’t sit in the front seat of the water taxi!!!
This was a valuable lesson learned today – fortunately I sat in the 4th row & remained dry – except for the occassional spray from a rather large wave or two. The riders in the front seat got a free salt scrub & shower on a regular basis as we scooted across the Banderas Bay from the hotel to downtown Puerto Vallarta – all good fun – better than a bus ride. Hmmm … not such a good day for the hostesses who got drenched and had chosen today of all days to switch up their outfits and wear white pants & black tops …
The bus ride back to the hotel whilst informative seemed rather boring compared to the water taxi but I think a couple of our group were much happier with this mode of transportation.
Tomorrow is another day & I’m sure there will be another adventure on this discovery weekend …
